This Chokhor Duchen, Join Us in Building a Sanctuary for Mental Peace
Looking out over the snow-capped Himalayan peaks from the Land of Arya Tara in Nepal, we are filled with immense gratitude. Thanks to your devotion, our nine Large Stupas are fully subscribed and structurally complete, and we have already started foundation work for the accompanying retreat facilities!
As we stand in this powerful mountain energy, the next step of our shared journey is clear: welcoming the Three Taras. We are thrilled to share the architectural conceptual design for their future home. Crafted in the timeless Newari style, this traditional temple features tiered roofs and ornate wood carvings that blend divine energy with the raw, natural landscape. Inside, the temple will house thousands of handmade Tsa Tsas in the prayer hall behind, illuminated by water and light offerings designed specifically for accumulating immense merit.

Today marks Chokhor Duchen—the festival celebrating Buddha’s First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma. On this sacred day, the merit of all positive actions is multiplied 100 million times. There is no more potent moment to pool our resources and plant a collective seed for world peace and inner healing.
An Antidote to Modern Suffering and Padmasambhava's 2030 Nuclear War Prophecy
Building sacred spaces is more urgent than ever. We live in an era defined by a silent global epidemic of mental distress—where fear of the future, chronic anxiety, and debilitating depression weigh heavily on human consciousness. These internal struggles mirror the turbulent external state of our world. Padmasambhava's terma prophecies warn of catastrophic global conflict and nuclear devastation in the Iron Dog Year of 2030.
However, these obstacles are not set in stone. Inner despair and outer chaos are deeply interconnected; by healing the human mind, we change the trajectory of the world. These threats can be systematically averted through timely merit-making and sacred monuments. By anchoring the synergistic presence of Green, White, and Red Tara in this single sanctuary, we generate the pacifying energy needed to soothe mental anguish, blunt global negativity, heal the earth, and secure a peaceful future.
The Three Taras: A Mandala of Psychological and Spiritual Healing
Initially envisioned just for Green Tara, this sacred space has evolved into a complete sanctuary for three distinct emanations of the Mother of All Buddhas. Sitting side by side, their statues create a holistic mandala of healing, longevity, and transformation—specifically targeted to liberate us from the modern poisons of anxiety, depression, and fear.

1. Green Tara: The Swift Antidote to Fear and Anxiety
Green Tara is intimately connected to nature, renewal, and vital growth. In Buddhist psychology, she is the ultimate refuge from the "Eight Great Fears", which represent both external dangers and internal psychological blocks (such as pride, delusion, and attachment).
Ready to Help: Her extended foot shows she is poised to spring into action the moment you call, making her the ultimate emergency support when panic or anxiety strikes.
Healer of Anxiety: Her mantra (Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha) specifically targets internal panic. Tuttare means to liberate from the eight fears, effectively calming the nervous system, dissolving chronic worry, and protecting us from external conflict.
2. White Tara: The Maternal Light Overcoming Depression and Despair
Seven Eyes of Wisdom: Eyes on her hands, feet, and forehead allow her to see suffering across all realms, ensuring that no hidden sadness or silent mental anguish goes unnoticed by her compassionate gaze.
Granting Longevity and Vitality: Her practice restores physical health and extends life. By clearing the heavy karmic imprints that manifest as severe depression, she restores joy and helps practitioners overcome life-threatening obstacles.
3. Red Tara: Transforming Trauma and Powerlessness into Strength
Overcoming Obstacles: Her fierce, magnetising energy subdues internal attachments, tames a hypercritical mind, and clears external blockages.
Fearless Expression: Her vibrant presence empowers practitioners with the courage, vital force, and fierce confidence needed to break free from stagnant mental ruts and accomplish enlightened activities.
